Asparagus Juice Delight Recipe

Seriously healthy, seriously refreshing
Yield: 1    Preparation Time:     Cooking Time: No cooking required
You may have pictured asparagus only as a savory side dish to meat. Asparagus juice may not be as appetizing and as tempting as your regular sweet apple or orange juice. But if you think outside the box, asparagus as a juice isn’t as bad you think it is. On top of that, it is also very healthy. It is believed to help those with rheumatism, anemia, skin problems and other diseases.

4 spears of fresh asparagus, washed thoroughly
3 small carrots, topped, tailed and washed thoroughly
2 celery ribs, washed thoroughly
Maple syrup (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Simply process the vegetables in the juicer to get the extract. When juicing the asparagus, make sure to juice the head first. Taste test. If you think you want it a little sweeter, you may add an apple or two or use a drizzle of maple syrup.
